Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Tyler Chessa (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit tylerchessa.com or apply for coaching. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

What we collect

• Application details: your name, email, phone (optional), Instagram handle (optional), location (optional), age, height, bodyweight, training history, goals and the answers you give.
• Booking details: if you book a call, our scheduling provider (Calendly) collects your name, email and chosen time.
• Coaching data: if you become a client, progress photos, measurements, training and nutrition logs, and check-in notes.
• Technical data: basic server logs (such as IP address and browser type) kept by our hosting provider for security and performance.

How we use it

• To review your application and decide whether coaching is a good fit.
• To contact you about your application and book a call.
• To deliver coaching if you become a client.
• To keep the site secure and working properly.

We don't sell your personal information. We don't share it with anyone except the service providers below, or where the law requires it.

Service providers

We use trusted third parties to run the site and the business. Some of them may store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.

• Vercel (website hosting)
• Resend (email delivery of applications)
• Calendly (call scheduling)
• Google Workspace (application records)

Photos and testimonials

We will never publish your photos, name, results or words without your written permission. You can withdraw that permission at any time.

How long we keep it

We keep application data for up to 24 months if you don't become a client, and client records for as long as needed to provide coaching and meet legal obligations. After that we delete or anonymize it.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent. Email hello@tylerchessa.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access limits. No system is perfectly secure, but we take it seriously.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top of this page.
